Find out more@theinstructorpodcast.com today is tip number 42 and we've got another tip recorded live at the expo, this time from LDC's Gemma McArdleigh.

Gemma McArdle:

Hello, my name's Gemma McArdle.

Gemma McArdle:

I'm from LDC learner driving centres and my tip for driving instructors would be to read the small print.

Gemma McArdle:

Make sure that you understand anything that you're signing up to.

Gemma McArdle:

Please don't rely on what somebody tells you over the phone or in person.

Gemma McArdle:

At the end of the day, read the small print.

Gemma McArdle:

Whether that is a franchise agreement, it could be a car finance agreement, which also quite a few people can get trapped by.

Gemma McArdle:

Please make sure you read the small print.

Gemma McArdle:

Do not go for what somebody says, just make sure you read it.

Gemma McArdle:

If you don't understand it, ask questions.

Gemma McArdle:

That's the most important thing.

Gemma McArdle:

And if the person is upfront and straight with you, then you can know that you sign them to something good.

Terry Cook:

So I hope you found this tip useful.
